Kathy Suzanne Greene Beaudin, 69, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Kathy grew up in the Mid-west, graduating from Princeton High School in Princeton, IL and getting her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Indiana University in 1968. In 1976 she completed her Masters in Education- Counseling from the University of Vermont. She later worked as a legal secretary and office manager at Blodgett, Watts & Volk, PC in Burlington, VT. Kathy Suzanne Greene Beaudin, 69, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Kathy grew up in the Mid-west, graduating from Princeton High School in Princeton, IL and getting her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Indiana University in 1968. In 1976 she completed her Masters in Education- Counseling from the University of Vermont. She later worked as a legal secretary and office manager at Blodgett, Watts & Volk, PC in Burlington, VT. In 2000, Kathy & her husband moved to Virginia Beach, VA where she worked as an Assistant to the Provosts at Tidewater Community College, Norfolk and Virginia Beach campuses until her retirement in 2015.
Kathy loved spending time with her family, walking the beach, reading books, swimming and learning about natural healing & healthy eating. She was a member and a past Local Director of Eckankar in Virginia Beach. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Beaudin of Virginia Beach and Dayton, OH, her son Travis J. Beaudin of Trinidad, CA, her daughter Tasha L. Beaudin of Warwick, RI, her mother-in-law, Katherine E. Beaudin of S. Burlington, VT, her sister, Judy L. Buckmaster (Richard) of Nashville, IN, her step-sister, Karen Luessenheide (Duane) of Plymouth, MN, her step-mother, Dellie Greene of St. Paris, OH and step-sister Dian Blaylock of Springfield, OH. Preceding her in death were her father, William E. Greene of Lake Zurich, IL, her mother and step-father, Estelle S. Rici and Larry Rici, of S. Ft. Myers, FL, and her beloved grand-dog, Diggity.
