GRESCHL, Martha Marie Buehler, age 89 of Kettering, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Atria Springboro Senior Living Center. Martha was born on May 28, 1928 in Bradford, Ohio to the late Charles Echemann and Rose Schweitzer Buehler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sisters, Frances Nill and Dalena Tosta; and brother, Robert Buehler. She is survived by her brother-in-law, John Greschl; nieces Florence Foster, Brenda (Hans) Landefeld, Connie (Leon) Daidone, and Kay (Charles "Pete") Smith; nephew Gerald "Jerry" (Dianne) Greschl; and numerous other nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Martha was born on May 28, 1928 in Bradford, Ohio to the late Charles Echemann and Rose Schweitzer Buehler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sisters, Frances Nill and Dalena Tosta; and brother, Robert Buehler. She is survived by her brother-in-law, John Greschl; nieces Florence Foster, Brenda (Hans) Landefeld, Connie (Leon) Daidone, and Kay (Charles "Pete") Smith; nephew Gerald "Jerry" (Dianne) Greschl; and numerous other nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Martha was a 1946 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys, Ohio, and she graduated from the St. Rita's School of Nursing in Lima, Ohio in 1949. In 1966, Martha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Dayton. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton for 25 years where she loved caring for newborns. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, Ohio 45429, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Father Chris Worland officiating.
